Gažul
is an old abandoned village in the middle of Brač where shepherds now keep
their herds. Every year people gather in Gažul for the annual fair, not
just farmers and merchants, but also other spectators that happen across
this otherwise "lost" village. |

Apart from cattle, other
homemade goods are sold: cheese, vegetables, liquors, but also traditional
gardening and fieldwork tools that are still used on Brač. |

Baby
animals are always an interesting sight. Fuzzy baby donkeys are an especially
endearing sight, clinging to their mothers' side for protection from nosy
onlookers. |
